Pre-Degree Programme
Candidates will be initially admitted into the pre-degree programme at the end of which final
placement of successful candidates will be done. Students will undergo intensive preparation for
two semesters in the following subjects:
- Science
English language, mathematics, biology, sgricultural science,
chemistry and physics.
- Social and Management Science
English language, mathematics, economics, government
and biology.
Placement Into Degree Programmes
Final selection of successful candidates into any of the programmes offered by the
university will be based on performance in the pre-degree examination, JAMB (UME) and obtaining
a minimum of five (5) ordinary level credit passes at no more than two sittings at the time of
registration.
Entry Requirements
- Science
A minimum of four (4) credit passes at no more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO or its
equivalent in any of English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry
and Physics.
- Social and Management Sciences
A minimum of four (4) credit passes at no more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO or its
equivalent in any of English Language, Mathematics, Commerce, Accounts, Agricultural Science,
Government, etc...
